Initial battery charge
Just got my S710a today via Cingular - can someone tell me what a fully charged battery indicator is supposed to look like on the screen?
After 8 hours all I see is the green battery icon with a white line through it - is this right or should the icon be colored solid green? Should there be a progress indicator as the charging progresses?
Also, my red charge light on the side of the phone only blinks when I initially plug-in the charger - but the manual says it should blink while charging (so I assume it should blink throughout the charge time)? Is this right?
The phone is working when unplugged, but I just can't tell what things are supposed to look like, as what I'm seeing and what the manual says are two different things 🙄 ...

1. i dont think i see anything on my screen when its done charging.. the charging window disapears if i remember correctly.
2.mine takes less than eight hours to charge and it is solid green persay.. that white line u see is just shading from what it looks like over here..
3. ive heard from others heree in the forum that it blinks when the battery is very low, mine does not lol..as for mine when it charges its solid red till the charge has completed the the light gos off to indicate a full charge..

Well, after a day or two, it seems to be behaving normally! In other words, I now see a progress indicator and the red light stays on during the charging process.
No idea why initially I was getting different behaviour!
Anyway, it's working fine now.
