Do you guys have 8 or 9 icons on the main screen??? review and questions as well.
Hey guys. I just got my s710a yesterday. Like everything about the phone so far. I was just wonderng if the main screen is suppose to have 8 or 9 icons. I'm with Cingular right now as much as I really don't want to, just for the phone 😎 . Other then that, does anybody know what type of charges do you get for POP3 mail? Would that count as MEdia Net or SMS? The only downside I noticed so far from the phone is that the conversation speaker including the speaker phone is just a little to low for me. I guess I'm so use to my loud Sanyo VM4500 🙂 . When trying to send an MMS, the OS is really really slow, I guess this is normal for everybody? I was told that my area has EDGE, but not throughout. I really don't notice any form of high...

the best way to see if you have EDGE coverage is to tether to your laptop/desktop and see if you pull4-6KB/sec or 10-12KB/sec.

Here's an even easier way.
Open up Media Net.
Click on "More"
Scroll down to "Status" and click on it.
Under Access Type, it'll tell you whether you're getting GPRS or EDGE signal. 😁
