Got the unlock code now what?
This maybe a stupid question, But I tried a search and cannot find the answer.
I purchased my New S710A from the local cingular store about a week ago. I called up customer Service and got the subsidy unlock code (not easy but not impossible) They said I could not unlock the phone unless I put in another carriers SIM card. This doesn't sound right as I remember being able to unlock my TREO 600 by entering a few * and # along with the 8 digit number.
Does anyone know how it needs to be entered?

Sorry to get you all excited thinking someone had an answer but you should post this in the Cingular forum. You will more than likely get a faster response. If they cant help then Google it and Im sure youll find something.
