If you buy the s710a off of Wirefly, will I be able to get the rebate without buying a service plan? I just want to switch my Cingular SIM card from my old Nokia 3650 to it.

no, you only get the discount if you buy a 2 years service plan with the phone. otherwise it's $399 at wirefly.

No, you'd have to add another line through Cingular I'm sure, but I may be wrong.
All in all, that rebate is for new contract customers only Im guessing, that's usually how it always is.

Aww, I see. So does anyone know where I can get a good deal buying this phone without a contract/upgrading my current Cingular phone? I know eBay has some pretty good deals, but it's hard keeping up with the bidders.

Actually, you dont have to bid. Some sellers use what is called "Buy It Now". This allows you to simply purchase an item without having to do any sort of bidding.
