Using the SE S710a on T-Mobile

First, I am not highly literate in this area (cell phones, carriers, etc.).

I'm currently using an SE T610 in my 3rd year at T-Mobile. Happy with T-Mobile in general. Not so happy with the T610, primarily for reception issues.

I'm looking at my options, as my contract is up in July. I was looking at the Motorola A630 but started to get a feel that reception wasn't reputed to be very good with that phone. Stopped in a Cingular store (apparently not a corporate store -- btw, are there any/many corporate stores for Cingular? I didn't have a warm/fuzzy customer experience there - Alpharetta GA Windward) and could only see one S710a, and that was the personal phone of one of the employees. Oops. I misspoke in this paragraph:

"So, for price reasons, the 2-year contract reason, and my fairly strong feeling that customer service seemed lacking, I'm not taking the tack of (a) sticking with T-Mobile (great customer service) and (b) getting the S710a."

I meant to say that I --AM-- taking the tack of..... as opposed to the "not" insertion.
