S710a - Floating Clock Screensaver
Sup All,
So I finally got my phone in yesterday; One thing I noticed is, my old T610 and even T630 had a floating clock that came on after the screensaver had done its deed, but I have no floating clock anymore on this phone. Can someone please advise me on that?
I just want a big clock on the screen when I am not using it, I don't care for the screensaver doing its thing or not, my main objective is to get a clock on the idle phone. Is there a setting that I am missing (i doubt it, i've been through every nook and cranny of menus) OR Is there a java app or something like that someone is aware of out there, that can provide me with Floating Digital Clock Bliss.

Sony Ericsson purposely left this feature out due to the large screen and having it always be on with the time would drain the battery even faster, therefore they left it out.

I hear ya, it sux tho - i wish they fix it in a firmware upgrade.
You guys know anything about firmware upgrades on this? I just got mine 2 days ago, so i am hoping cingular did good, but u never know. Although, next time i go 2 india - i am gonna try to get it unlocked - hopefully its possible so i can use it there for the duration of my stay.
