Part of a song as a ringtone...

Does anybody know how to put a certain part of a song as a ringtone?

I use a program called Audacity (Windows & Mac versions availabe, search download.com) to cut the parts of an mp3 I want as my ringtone. Save 'em and then transfer them to the phone.
