Palm Treo 650 (CDMA)

I had a pre-order in at PalmOne and cancelled it yesterday right after I ordered it (telesales 888-253-1315) directly from Sprint! when you order it you have the option of getting next day delivery!!! 😁 If you call for an order, you may have to call several times. I don't know why but some of the phone operators are stuck in 'binder syndrome' and aren't real helpful. On my second call, the operator said that I was his 8th TREO650 order of the day.
As far as cost goes...While PalmOne offered a free headset with its pre-order (100 value) I had to pay full price. While I get a $150 discount (mail in rebate) by purchasing directly from Sprint. The difference is 50 bucks! Oh yea, P1 still wouldn't be shipping my phone for another week.
Anyway I should see the phone early next week. Since I wasn't expecting this unit for another couple of weeks thu P1, I didn't bother with overnighting the unit. Once it arrives, I'll post my thoughts on the unit.

I ordered my 650 from PalmOne, with the $99 BT headset for $599. The PalmOne folks AND the Sprint folks assure me that when the phone comes in and I activate, I will get a $150 mail in rebate, bringing the price down to $450.
