Well, you have to look at the Pro's and Con's of each phone.

The E815 has Bluetooth that will be crippled opposed to the 8000 having no Bluetooth at all.

Considering the 8000 has a CCD sensor opposed to the E815's CMOS, the 8000 is more than likely to have better picture quality. The battery life may suffer from the CCD sensor though, but they made battery chargers for something!

They both seem to have the same talk time according to phonescoop.com, although the E815 shows better stand-by time. But like I said, they made chargers for something!

All in all, the best thing to do is make a comparison, over all they seem to be the same phone at face value, you just have to, like I said, do a comparison of the two phones and see whi...

The most intelligent thing I have ever read from you. This helps. I like the un-biased comparison. Great. I have to agree, where the features are important should be the deciding factor 07boi. LG's last few camera phones have been sensational. The resolutions and battery lives of each phone are similiar. The main difference as Hero said has to be the CMOS vs CCD sensor. CCD is a very crisp and more camera like production, but another thing you might look at is memory. The E810 is expandable, however the 8000 is not. So saving pictures, movies, and songs, might be a little hard after awhile if these files aren't transferred to a computer.

I've never heard of "subspace pb/hz", so I don't think I'm the same person.

Although it may be uncommon for two people to have a different name, it's possible. HeroPsychoDreamer is the name of a song by a band called Live. Which most people I've come to see haven't heard of.

Just to let you people who are throwing your opinions about this phone left and right, here is a little fact for you. I work for Verizon Wireless corporate and my boss is one of the employee's who takes part in testing the phones and then writing a detailed report on the pro's and con's of various phones before they are deemed an official release. He gave the phone back about a week and a half ago. Now, I'm not going to be ignorant like some other posters on here but the official release of the e815 SHOULD NOT have crippled Bluetooth. At least the one that I saw that said "Verizon" on it did NOT. I cannot speak for other models though, you never know what other people might have. I will say that the camera is a bit better then the v710...

Here's what most of us know to be true as well, Verizon stated they they crippled the Bluetooth because of agreements between them and BREW developers. The E815 also has BREW, in turn, meaning Verizon will more than likely hold to its agreements with BREW developers, unless they want to be sued by them next.

Isn't that backwards?

I think the Motorola has the CCD, and the LG has the CMOS.

The real comparison is the Motorola E815 and the LG VX8100(which is an update to the VX8000). They are both EVDO phones with Bluetooth and a 1.3 megapixel camera. I don't know if PhoneScoop has the LG VX8100 listed under the LG phones but there was definitely an article on here about it. But since the VX8000 is coming out on Feb 1st, people are speculating that the VX8100 won't be available for months.

Their is no comparison between E815 and the VX8000. E815 has tons of features such as mp3 and bluetooth. E815 has every feature that can be possibly added to a phone. The only improvement they can make on E815 is more MB and better camera, but their are already very good.

how about working bluetooth 🤭 , the way i see it (815 vs 8000) is a crisp speakerphone (moto) or a typucal lg speakerphone, an ok camera (moto) vs. a great camera (lg), bluetooth headset vs wired and expandible memory vs not (transflash makes it real easy to trasfer stuff onto your computer)

is there much difference in speakerphone quality? Especially the microphone. full duplex or what ever else. the main problem i see is with people understanding me vs me understanding them. which has the better overall speakerphone vx8000 or v710/e815

in my opinion moto's tend to have better speakerphones and their voice dialing works alittle sharper
the camera on the lg's are top notch tho
8000 vs e815 is tough because hardly anyone has seen the picture quality of the 815

710 to 8000...honestly i like the camera on the 7000 better
personally i've been seeing a differing opinion from different demographics from each phone
young peeps don't like the 710 cause of its less than favorable camera
business people i sell it too absolutely love it...best thing since the startac...cause of its speaker..i hear it has good sound quality and reception..its battery is good...and they typically don't care about the camera
the bluetooth headset seems to work especially well too
alot of people ...
