Motorola E815 / E816 Hollywood

There have been so many changes on this phone release date it makes me sick and makes my head spin. I dont know if its another rumor or the truth. I never heard of them doing a commercial for a phone though but if this is the case Verizon is using till the end of the second quarter for this phone release to their advantage and i imagine they will be launching quite a few more phones at that time as well if this is the case. Hopefuly its just another rumor though.

Did you see where the (ARV) Actual Retail Value of BOTH the E815 and Headset was only $349?

Good catch on the contest end date and also on the retails price of both the phone and headset.. hopefully we're assuming correctly.

I really can't see how they can sell BOTH for that price...usually the BT Headset would be about $75 so that would make the phone only retail for $275?? That can't be right but that's what Moto says!

Yea but that might be Motorolas actual price and when it hits Verizon we all know they jack up the price through the roof. I know you can go on Motorolas website and buy phone carriers phones off their such as Verizons and Alltels sometimes its cheaper sometimes its more expensive maybe its cheaper just to buy that phone through Motorolas website. But i know that headset alone retails for about $99.99 itself so you know its going by Motorolas prices and not the Phone Carriers prices. But Motorola is also releasing a new headset the H500 bluetooth headset and that is suppose to be out the end of the second quarter as well as the e815 so maybe they are waiting to release the e815 and h500 bluetooth headset at the sametime since Verizon is o...

Well we all know what happens when we ASSUME they did the same with the v710 and it didn't come out until after the contest end date!!!!!!! 🤣 🤣

OK when i called Motorola last month they said the E815 would be released mid-late May or early June if any delays so obviously no one can get anything straight between Motorola and verizon. As far as price goes i think it will be a little more than $200 thats what the V265 phone goes for retail price. The price will also depend on the carrier.

I can neither confirm or deny this date, but as I said before there is something happening at this time that would make the launch of these phones important.

I read either on here or HoFo that Verizon will be introducing a new service that will involve the E815 and the LG VX8100. Thats all i heard though.

I am debating which phone to purchase. The Motorola E815 or the LG VX8100. I am leaning toward the E815 because of the longer battery life on the specs. Can you help me in the decision process???

I say go for the e815. I was really going for the 8100 because i just came off of the vx6000 and they are similar, but I bought the v710 and and i LOVE it. Since they are so similar I would say to go with that.

Hopefully, June 27th is the day we've all been hoping for. Who cares about a new service! I just want the phone! Sometimes, I wish people would just cut the crap and give us the real inside scoop on what's going to happen.

I agree im sick of the politics with these phones they seem to do it all the time like its such a big deal. We are the consumers we keep these companies running we know they know when these phones are coming out they should at least release some information if not all of it to us for us to make a decision on what we want to do.
