Motorola E815 / E816 Hollywood
simple question?
thats like comparing apples to oranges. Its pure preference. The A840 is more of a business type phone and is also a global phone (international) carries both the CDMA network and the GSM network and has no bluetooth and is considered a "step down" from the V710 even though i think the camera is better than the v710. I have the V710 and the A840 and i prefer the A840 more features and everything. Just no bluetooth. On the other hand the E815 will be a upgrade from the V710 it will have the bluetooth and the EV-DO which is streaming media which will allow you to get Verizon V-cast when it hits your area and it will be able to handle the broadband speed internet connection as well. How is the reception with the A840? I would be strictly on Verizon's network. I'm more concerned with a "phone" than the camera and BT. I need to pick up weak signals where I live so I was waiting for the E815. Thanks.

As soon as i get that phone up and running i will give you my review. I'm having some trouble with Verizon i ran into a very incompetent store that messed my whole order up and caused mass chaos and put 2 different types of delivery methods on 1 receipt for 1 phone so i don't know where my phone is neither does Verizon or FedEx. None the less if this store don't get their act together the employees and the manager by tomorrow June 3, 2005 and stop bad mouthing me and other customers i wont be able to give u a report because i will be jumping ship.
