Question on VZW Nat'l Access

Question for the group....hope this makes sense.

I'm getting a BT enabled PDA next week. I'm also waiting for a new phone...either the E815 or the VX8100.

My question is about Verizon's data plans. Can I use one phone for two separate plans....IOW...can I get the new phone and use my voice plan, and also add a separate data plan on the same device? Or will I need to get the data plan separate with a separate phone?

TIA

I believe you will have to get 2 seperate plans. I know i tried to get a push to talk plan and a regular Americas choice plan all together and Verizon said they dont combine plans like that.

Data plans can only be added to data capable devices i.e. pda's or data cards. You cannot havea data add-on for a standard phone. You would have to have on e of the pc cards with its own phone number and two year contract. If you were to use the phone itself as a modem, last I knew it was running about 14.4k I could be wrong, but I've been trying to stay up on all this stuff for my customers as best I can.
