does anyone know if this phone will be able to use the speaker phone while the phone is shut? j/w i think that is an important feature.

I dont know how you can say you can use the speaker phone when the handset is closed because i dont see a mic or a speaker on the exterior of the handset? Where would you speak and where would the sound come from?

The speaker is on the side of the phone in the hinge, but the people who have looked at it on hofo said that you can't use it with the head set closed..........so just reporting what I have heard.

Forgot which forum I was in. Yah there are a lot of people on hofo that have this phone and none of them said that you can use it with the phone closed. It is just like the v710 in that sense. ignore the above post.
