Motorola E815 / E816 Hollywood
e815 vs vx8100
I would hesitate to buy another Motorola phone since the V710 I bought last summer has given me nothing but trouble. Many of the features have worked intermittently at best since day one and it has been very frustrating. That said, the E815 should be a solid phone with an excellent feature set, the question will be whether Motorola has re-engineered it enough to iron out the problems of the V710.
As far as the LG, plenty of people have complained of problems with the VX7000 and 8000 so there's no telling how reliable this latest one will be. However, it does appear that LG has made more changes between the 8000 and 8100 than Motorola did between the V710 and E815. So which one should you buy? I suggest trying the 8100 for the first week or...
