Has the E815 been updated by E895 already?

I don't believe the E895 is a replacement for the E815, simply because the description says it runs off of the EDGE high-speed network. The only other carrier I know of that has that is T-Mobile. Hope that helps. 🙂

This is a GSM phone which means it will not be offered by verizon (E895). Think of it as a comparable model to the E815 for use with cingular type GSM networks. The main difference as far as I can tell is he new operating system and a few upgraded features over the 815.

yeah, triband gsm means no vzw. hopefully we'll start seeing that new OS in the newer vzw phones though. then they replace the charge port and i might buy a motorola. 😁
