Motorola E815 / E816 Hollywood
Moto e815 & Samsung SCH-A970 - Any Thoughts/Info?
Does anyone here have any information of when the Samsung a970 is coming out and how it will compare to the Moto E815? For those who haven't seen it here's a link with lots of photos:

A while ago, Maroot6 posted a link below that showed the e815 on a list of compatible phones. The samsung a970 is also on that list so I was wondering if it was going to be released at the same time? I have been waiting eagerly for the e815 but this phone looks amazing.
What does everyone thing?

the Samsung SCH-A970 will NOT be released the same time the E815 is going to be on July 5th for EVDO areas...the SCH-A970 has a 2 MegaPixel camera with video recording and the camera is located in the hinge so you have to turn the phone as you see in the pictures that Superp25 posted...It also has MP3 buttons on the outside which is also a nice feature. All the new phones coming out are looking amazing and I think everyone here agrees that we all want the best of the best in a phone. I do not have any information on when the phone will be released for Verizon but all i can say is that it is a nice phone that has some plus's over the E815 but the E815 should be a great phone as well as the SCH-A970 and the SCH-A950...hope this helps!! 😁

Thanks Maroot6! I figured it wouldn't be. I've been with Verizon for years and a sales rep offered me a free phone with all the accessories 'cause I renewed my contract. I can redeem the offer at any time. I was waiting to use it for the Moto e815 until I saw the a970.
Question: How do I go about starting a forum for the Samsung a970 on PhoneScoop? Is that something I can start or do I have to wait for the webmasters of the site to set it up?

you have to wait for the phone to show up on the site first...they cant do that until they find out enough information, than they put the phone on the site and once that happens you can post in that forum...hope that help...
