Can anyone tell me why I should wait for the lg 8100 over the motorolla e815? pros/cons etc..

You should be asking that question in the VX8100 forum. We're waiting for the E815! From what Verizon rep said in the article on PhoneScoop, you could be waiting for months for the 8100.

Not to sound rude but that question has been asked quite a few times go through the forum or do a search or compare both phones on phonescoop.com you will get your answer.
