has anyone in minneapoils found the e815 yet???
im hearing many people finding them after calling many verizon stores. i have done that but havent found any that have them yet. has anyone in the minneapolis area found a store with one?????

Minneapolis probably won't have it yet, just like Detroit. We don't have EvDO yet, so they aren't releasing it here. My buddy from the VZW store has no idea when it is going to be released here.

I live in Bay City Michigan which is about 3 hours North from Detroit and we don't have EV-DO and they will be releasing the E815 on Tuesday here. I think they are releasing the E815 early in the areas that have EV-DO and the other non EV-DO areas have to wait until July 5th. I was able to test one out today and its a real nice phone the manager at Circuit City even though they said they wont be releasing it until July 5th let me test it out for a good hour he said i could test it out longer but i found out what i wanted to know and he was just as interested in the phone as i was but i found out what i wanted to find out about the phone its pretty fast and good software and solid phone my only concern and the only thing i really wasn't abl...

I'm in Minneapolis. The phone has been delivered to Verizon stores. I saw them on Friday. Also, EVDO will start to be released in Minneapolis next week, and by August 1 will be metro wide, I was told.

howard, which store did you see it at, and have you found any that would sell them??? i have called verizon in maple grove, they said they have 2 but wont display them, called roseville they dont have them, plymouth they dont have them, and i checked the minnetonka cc and they said they dont, either they are all lying to me or they dont have them. it does make me mad that some vw stores dont arent giving them out yet and others are.
