Bluetooth Protocol Version

This question has been poking me in the side since I first heard about this phone. I have an HS-810 BT headset, and It is v1.1 and so was my v710. I bet you, and hope so, that I am right, but I think the e815 is backward-compatible with v1.1, since the phone itself is the newer version, 1.2.

If anyone can confirm this, please do so. I am worried I paid $100 for the BT headset, and used it for 3 days, before I returned my v710.
