Phonebook does not seem to work
Paired it up with our 2006 Range Rover tonight. The only thing you can do is make and receive calls. No phonebook available..
What are they doing ?
...
Was it just no phonebook available when you paired it up with your Ranger or no phonebook at all?
...
There is no phonebook Icon on the Rover.. It's grayed out. I think that means it's not accesible ??
...
I would have that looked into you might have a bad phone or a bad connection somewhere or it might not all be compatible.
...
It's the old Phonebook crippled thing I think ?
...
are you talking about OBEX?
...
It says right in the 815 book OBEX is not enabled. But it does say phonebook transfer is usable..
I don't know what to do..
I am going to try and link it to our New Lexus RX330 and see what happens there
More to come

On what page does it say phone transfer is usable? Because I did get to a point in my lexus GS system where the Lexus software said 'ok, send your phonebook now'.
But I don't see any menu to get me there on the 815?
...
It doesnt work because its a 2006 range rover, there are hardly any of those on the road right now...i highley doubt there was a driver included for whatever vendor they used in the OEM Range Rover car kit when the E815 was designed in...2005! OBEX has nothing to with phone book transfer. You will have to wait for a firmware upgrade for the phone before it will work. Probably 2006.
