Thinking about getting this phone for my wife...she's currently using an LG VX4400 and doesn't want to go much bigger than that. This phone looks like it rocks 🙂 I was gonna get one myself but I couldn't resist the Samsung i730

I know it's probably a trivial question...and the "spec" sizes look similar (but then the 'spec' said my new i730 would be huge compared to my old Kyo 7135...which isn't the case they're relatively the same. Before I try and get it for her I want to make sure it's not huge compared to the VX4400.

Nobody here owned both of these?

I would say they are pretty close in size I'm comparing the LG VX 4500 which i think is about the same size as the LG VX 4400 and the E815 is the same size as the V710 virtually. I don't know why but the E815 seems slimmer and a bit more trim than the V710. So i would say that the LG VX 4400 and E815 are pretty equal not a massive difference.

i've had both phones, i just upgraded from the 4400 to the e815.

as for size, the e815 is only millimeters taller and wider. however, the 4400 is thicker.

its a sweet phone so far. its your call dude

The battery life is going to be the difference maker in the decision the E815 virtually comes with a extended battery. and the phone is still slim like it has a standard battery in it.
