Motorola E815 / E816 Hollywood
So Happy!
Finally picked up my new E815 yesterday at Circuit City. I had to take it to a Verizon dealer to have the phonebook data transfered (no charge).
I have had two lg phones and this is my first Motorola. Just love it. It is user friendly but maybe not quite as easy as the LG. But the battery has longer life, the speaker phone is great and I have it paired up in my cars with a cordless Motorola blutetooth speaker that clips on the car visor. Fantastic sound incoming and outgoing and with multiple numbers in the phone book it asks which one to dial. Easy to use and you do not have to take your eye off the road.

Where are you located? I'm in the South and the phone hasn't come out down here yet.

I have that bluetooth speakerphone you are talking about and all i get is that bad static noise and a lot of echo out of it but i want to try and make it work if not I'm going to end up having to return it and I'm trying to stay away from that option any tips?

You have to follow the quick start guide exactly and make sure when you get to step #4 that pairs your phone with the speaker it identifies the Motorola model speaker and you enter the passkey 0000 and select ok. Otherwise it will not work. You only have to do this once. My speaker has been on most of today and it works perfectly-no static.
