How can I remove the implanted pictures in Image Gallery?

When you get the 815 phone, there are some silly images and animations that seem locked in the Image Gallery under Pictures - some are idiotic animations from the seventies - I've tried to mark them and them delete marked files, but it just won't happen - my only guess is to try and move them to a transflash card then delete them, but I don't have a card yet - ANY SUGGESTIONS?

I agree with you i was hoping for better animations and wallpaper and screensavers. I do like the 3 skins the phone offers though. If i find a way to remove the pictures i will let you know my battery is conditioning now so i cant really toy with my phone until tomorrow.

Tell me more about conditioning your battery - are you discharging it to zero then charging it up again? I might call Motorola or Verizon on how to eliminate these buggers.

No when i condition my battery i have always been told to take the battery as it is since it don't come with a full charge and put it in the phone make sure the phone is off plug it in the travel/wall charger for 24 hours and its guaranteed to get a full condition than after that when the battery gets down to nothing charge the battery a good 8-10 hours usually when you go to bed just shut the phone off and charge it and when you wake up it will be charged. Just because it says "Charge Complete" don't mean its completely charged. I have tried charging it for 8 and 12 hours but it don't hold up as well as a 24 hour charge yes that is a long time and I'm getting antsy like crazy to use this phone but i know i will have a good battery life wh...

You cannot delete those. Same with every camera phone moto has ever made. The animations need to be there for when you recv a animated message from someone else...the phone needs a file to display. Just wish i didnt have to look at the damn thing! Or just get it outta my way.

At least its not like the 710 where that uses half you available memory!

Though I never understood that...the phone comes with a partial charge so that you can activate the phone and transfer address books and whatever else you need to do when you first purchase the phone (play with it).

As Lithium Ion batteries and all newer smart-batteries these days report to the phone when they are fully charged, you no longer run the risk of over-charging a battery by leaving it on a charger for too long, and so the best way to condition your battery would be to first run it all the way down until it shuts off on you, and then just charge it up until it says "charge complete."

Once the phone reports "charge complete" it is not charging it anymore, and just using up as much power as it needs to keep the phone on while n...
