I've heard that there is a $50 rebate on this phone. First is that correct? Am I going to get the rebate too if I order it online or is the online discount actually just the rebate?

Yes, there is a $50 rebate on the phone. I do not believe that you will get both rebates. It looks like VZW gives you the $50 discount so that they do not have to send you the rebate certificate. I would confirm this with Customer Service 1-800-922-0204.

When you order it online you get a instant rebate you don't get a mail in rebate its a lot better than having to wait for your rebate check to come in 3 months later.
