I went on to Verizonwireless.com and did a comparison of the E815 and the V710. I am a little confused about several things that are on the V710 and not on the E815. It says that the V710 is Internet ready while the E815 is not, the V710 has Picture Messaging while the E815 does not, the V710 has 20 Ring Tones and the E815 says N/A, and under Screen Display it lists the V710 as having 11 lines while the E815 has only 7 lines.

Can someone explain?

The 815 is EVDO capable. It is assumed that an EVDO phone will have all of these things.

I had the V710 and in my job I had maybe 1 bar if I was in the right location. I just got the E815 yesterday and I am 99% satisfied. I got to work today and have 5 bars yes 5 bars at work where I sit which is nowhere near a window and is almost close to where the servers are. The V710 does not compare to the E815. I live in PA but work NJ so digital is fine for me. The camera is awesome and so is the sound and the visual of the phone. The V710 was good compared to my old vx6000 but it does not compare to the v710 and for the same price with my ne2 (FREE) why go with 1+ year old technology.

How does the sound on the E815 (both how you sound to others and how others sound to you) compare with the V710?

I am not sure how I sound to other people but even with the V710 people could not tell I was on speakerphone.
