I ordered mine on line and will have it today. At the VZW store I always go to they weren't even sure on Tuesday when they were going to be able to sell it. They had them in stock already, though.

Flint Circuit City has it, don't know about The Metro C.C.'s. I work in Southfield and live in Grand Blanc, but haven't checked out any of the stores down here. I played with it on Monday, but am waiting for the 8100. It wasn't out on display as of Monday, I had to ask for it, but the dude knew exactly what I was talking about and grabbed one out of the box for me.

I found a place on 16 and mound that would have been able to give it to me right away on monday but the price was more than I wanted to pay. So I went online, bought it for 100 bc of the instant online rebate- and got a free camera phone so a family member could sign up as well.
all in all it was 114 bc of the new service activation fee.

I know the Circuit City store in Brighton, MI wasn't releasing until July 7th. I had to call the Flint store they were pretty cool about the whole phone situation.

Circuit City in Utica is where I bought mine on Sunday. They still have some as far as I know. Check it out.

CC in Great Lakes Crossings has them in stock (and the demo was defective out of the box, charged for 30 seconds then died and never powered back on). Also, the Verizon store in that mall has them as well. I thought about getting one, but after 6 defective 710's, I am running far and away from Motorola and waiting on the 8100.

thanks for the help guys but i was looking for something in the southfield/westbloomfield area because that is where i work and live so yea.. the funny thing is that i am a cellular dealer but my wholesale doesnt have the phone in yet 😳
