USB modem speeds

Proto

If I were to connect to a E815 via Moto usb cable to my PC and use it as a USB modem (as I can with my V710) what kind of speeds will I get?

With the V710 I was getting horrible old school modem speeds 9600 to 14.4

If I am in an EV-DO area can I get a high speed connection to my PC?

Thanks

It is POSSIBLE to do that, but it violated the terms and conditions of your contract. so if you do it, and verizon catches you...they can cancel your service and charge you the ETF. So depends on how badly you want it 😛 you CAN still use 1xrtt, which is the old dialup speed connection. All this is detailed out in the contract you signed, so trust me, they won't hesitate to shut your phone off and charge you for it if they find out.
