Good day,

I am new to this site and was referred here via BMW X5 world. I have Verizon and would like to use the new E815 pairing it to my BMW X5 which has the Motorola -114 module.

Has anyone attempted to pair the E815 with an '05 BMW X5. I know that Verizon screwed with the Object Exchange in the V710 but the X5 world forums state that the later -114 Motorola module worked for phonebook transfer with a software update in the V710.

I hope the new 815 will transfer the phonebook to the cars module without a hassle.

I'm not a phone guy so any info in layman's english would be truly appreciated.

It works fine I just did it over the weekend on an 04 X5 with the module of a 05.
THe pairing process is pretty simple, as long as your phone is only and ready to be detected the car will find it with the key in position 1, then when you turn the car on it will transfer the phone book. Only thing I saw is if you have multiple entries it didn't differentiate then so you would have to code them
