I've been without my phone for about two weeks now. I plan on getting the e815 because of the better reception it has. I am able to order it through the verizon's business website through the company I work for with discounted rates. However, i've been reading problems about the speaker phone echoing on some phones and also about dead pixels when trying to take a picture with it. I was wondering if I should go ahead and get the phone now, b/c this can be fixed with a software update, or wait a few more weeks until they fix it, cuz i really don't want to have to send my phone back and wait a month to get it back

These problems wont be fixed in a few more weeks. When any phones come out there will be a few bad phones. I bought my phone and haven't had 1 single problem with it yet. So its really up to you if you want to get this phone but i can tell you unless something major goes wrong with this phone i wouldn't expect a software upgrade for a few months because they haven't even released a extended battery for this phone yet.

Get the phone, you won't be sorry! I've had no problems with echoing, and no dead pixels on my camera. The echoing could be from volume too high or both parties talking on their speakerphones, or just the service. I wouldn't worry too much. If you have a problem, just exchange it.

I second that i have had no problems with my phone either and the battery life is great. If you have any problems you have 15 days to exchange out the phone.

Not to sound rude or anything but you make it sound like a big deal and that the phone is going to come bad already. Ive had my phone for a week now and not a single problem big deal the easiest way is to take it to the store and have it exchange it out you have 15 days. People have exchanged this phone already because of a glitch every model of phone is bound to have them. You make it sound like its the hardest thing to walk into a store and say this phone is defective can i have it swapped out.
