E815 BT in Toyota?
I presently have the V710, which does work after a fashion in my Prius, but only the hands-free portion. Signal stregth, battery, etc. doesn't work, as well as the well-documented phonebook problem.
I am reasonably pleased with the V710, but would consider changing to the E815 if it would intregrate a little tighter with my car.
Thanks in advance for any replies.
If you edit the seem on your V710, you will be able to see the signal strength on your car's display screen. If you buy an E815, you'll probably be able to see signal strength without editing the seem on the E815 but you won't be able to transfer the phone book to the car even after editing the seem because of Denso's completely screwed up bluetooth implementation.

Sorry. I should have said you'll be able to see signal strength on your car's display if you have the software updated on your V710. Verizon will do the update for you.
Verizon provides no menu button to push the phonebook file to the car. The same command will allow users to transfer pictures for 'free', heaven forbid.
Cingular does allow free Bluetooth file transfer, so their phones work with Toyota.
