Still deciding on the 815 vs. 8100

Its a shame neither of these phones are perfect 😁

Does Digit Dialing give you the ability to verbally tell the phone what numbers to dial? Example: "dial 7-0-3-5-5-5-1-2-1-2" and it will dial the number? If so, does it work well with the 815?

Also, from a paranoia standpoint, is anyone concered with the high SAR levels the 815 puts out? 1.24 at the ear and 1.31 on the body? The 8100 is significantly less, but then it also has less in the way of reception and battery life.

TPR,
I just posted a pretty in depth comparison of the E815 vs. the VX 8100 over on the LG VX 8100 forum. I bought the E815 last week, but have since exchanged it for the VX 8100 due to a number of positives that the LG phone has over the Motorola E815.

As for digit dialing, I've found that both handsets perform this function very well and are accurate in recognizing the numbers you are speaking. It's pretty much boils down to personal preference. I originally thought the E815 was the superior phone, but now, I'm glad I went with the VX 8100 (even though the E815 is also a great phone as well).
