Why is all of the fuss between the e815 and 8100 when the samsung sch a890 is very similar to both of these phones. I'm due for a new phone thanks to ne2 and am coming from a samsung sch a530 which i've loved. the sammy has been great to me but i've heard no praise for it. any reason? (i don't get "into" phones as much as the majority of the people here so any info is more than i already know)

the reason you are not seeing any comparison between the 890 and either the e815 or 8100 is because they are in different ball parks. The 8100 and 815 both have blue tooth. There for there is going to be a much larger debate between those two rather then any other new ones coming out.
I too just got ride of my 530 for the 815. I have to say I love it. it is a little bigger but still a great phone. The battery life is not up to par for me but that seems to be a hit or miss thing, or a conditioning thing, or a whatever with this phone. I am going to give it a couple more charges and if it aint lasting I am going to go get a new battery.
