Greetings- well i have had my 815 for a day now and so far so good- and now the question that we all usually want to know- is there anway to get that ^&))^#@^ Verizon banner off the screen- I mean I just downloaded some neat pics for wallpaper but having VERIZON across them just takes away--

You can go to Menu, Settings (7), Personalize (2), Home Screen, and change the Banner setting
I have mine set to my name ... but there is some kind of catch ... the phone still says Verizon Wireless ... but after a few minutes of being unused it will revert to whatever you typed in.
I think the only way to truly get rid of it is with a SEEM edit.

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I set mine to my name and looked one time and saw my name and a few seconds later, Verizon Wireless again! I thought I did something wrong, but it switches back and forth; I think to let you know that you are in the "network".
