I just switched to verizon from sprint this past weekend due to better service in my area. I am trying to decide on a new phone and currently have the e815. Size is a huge issue for me. There are differences in both. I think it is all personal in what you choose. I prefer the e815 more than the 8100 why?

1) e815 : speakerphone still live when you close the phone while in the 8100 call gets disconnected

2) e815 : you can turn the speakerphone on and off on the side not like the 8100 where you have to open the phone to turn it on or off

3) 8100 : menus are boring and is the same as b4. 815 you can change skins to what you want and looks different

4) 8100 : yes the outside screen is vivid which in turn reduced battery life. For me 815 i charge mine every 4 days.

5) 815 : you can play mp3 music while in the 8100 you cannot

those are some of the major ones I find useful. But in turn it is all up to you. Hope ...
