Radioshack is sending ALL THE E815's BACK!!!
Today's Radioshack news stats.....
VERIZON MOTOROLA 815 EVDO ISSUE
* Please send ALL Verizon Motorola 815 (170-1863) handsets to repair. They
must be re-flashed to become EVDO capable as stated on the box.
So Radioshack finally gets this phone (well not in my store or any in my district) and then has to send it back to there ghetto repair center because none of them were programed with EVDO!!!
Wow and I really wanted to get this phone soon too...
btw, Radioshack sells the phone for $349.99 with a $50 mail in rebate... so that means $99.99 after rebate for 2 year customers and $149.99 for 1 year customers.

I had my phone flashed with the new software at VZW last night. Took 45 min. VCAST icon now on the GIN menu ... works fine.
RadioShack just doesn't want to flash each phone they have in stock ... or they don't have the capacity to do it.
My VZW store said they were keeping their stock, but I seriously hope they go thru their inventory and flash them BEFORE a customer gets them.
