Some questions maybe you all can provide some feedback-
1) With the E815 - can you email pictures taken with the phone to any SMTP email account? Or must you email them first to your account at Verizon (thus get charged .25 cents per photo)download them locally, then forward them on.
2) Can the pictures be transferred to a PC with the Bluetooth USB adapter ? Or does this require DUN to be enabled ( I have seen the prior posts on how-to). Sounds like this would be easier then transferring them via transflash.

1 - You can send pictures to any e-mail address, but you will still be charged $0.25 per message sent.

2 - Not sure about transferring the pics via bluetooth... definitely with the TF card though.

You can transfer pictures over bluetooth, but only if you do a seem edit to enable OBEX, then it works beautifully

transferring pictures via the transflash card works great. whether or not you saved it to the card when you took the picture, you can still copy it to the card, then the computer with no seem edit needed.

Ah... What is Verizon's intention for the transflash card? Was it intended as an alternative storage device independant of the phone's memory?
Having said that can you take pictures from the phone, store them on transflash and move them to the PC? Same with .mp3's? Does the operation work in reverse? Can you move files to the transflash card and then off load them to the PC? Doesn't one need a mod or a seem edit for this?
