Antenna
We are still contemplating which phone (actually we need two - so maybe I'll just get both the 815 and 8100 and compare them for two weeks) - here's my antenna question. On the 815 do you need to pull the antenna out to get good reception or for the most part do you leave it alone? Also, is it fairly snug tucked into its holder? The reason I ask this is that my wife carries her phone in her pocketbook and is afraid the antenna would open up and easily snap off.
Thanks

It doesn't open easily enough to pop out while in a purse. I never pull those thangs up anyway. We have both phones also and I like them both but cannot stand both of us having the same phone...we had that problem when we both had a670's and kept getting them mixed up.

the antenna fits in pretty snug. my wife also carries hers in her purse with god knows what else is in there... i don't pull the antenna too much, and the reception is great, really great. i only pull out the antenna is i start to loose someone and actually it usually helps.

I actually prefer the expendable (whip) antenna. I tried the stub antenna and if you get a bad signal or anything you cant do anything about it. The antenna on the E815 is pretty good i have yet to actually have to extend the antenna and my reception is crystal clear.

The antenna fit is very snug and I have rarely pulled it out while using the phone. Great reception. I just took mine on a 3,200 mile road trip from Phoenix to the tip of Louisiana and only once actually pulled out the antenna.
And jeez could someone shrink Texas?!!! What a long drive through the middle of no where land!!!
