windows media player...
when i try to save some of the files i get off walmart.com they save as .wpl files... how do i get them to save as .wmv or something that is compatible to use on funformobile.com? thanks in advance

Just tried it again and it works fine for me. When I click on the link I supplied above, the first 3 CD's I see are Backstreet Boys, George Strait, and Cold Play.
When I click on any one of them, another window opens allowing you to purchase the CD and below that is a list of the song tracks.
Along with each song track is a blue link labeled as "MP3 Audio" (without the "). If you right click on the "MP3 Audio" you get a long file name such as 1004883949594.401.mp3
Just right click the MP3 audio and save the file with whatever name you choose (the phone does not like the long file names/numbers/punctuation).

I had the same problem no matter what file it was i could not play it if it was a windows media player file. It wouldn't even show up on my phone. I think you have to download a mini windows media player to your phone or something. The non windows media players music files work fine on my phone.

You are in the wrong section of Wal Mart. You need to go to the CD Store and look at the individual songs listed as MP3 audio. You can then right click or save them in WMP as an MP3.
See some of the previous postings for the Wal Mart CD Store link and way to transfer songs to the phone.
A search at the bottom of the forum will yield a lot of info.
