Is Problem with v710 still an issue with e815?

With the v710, when I am in a place where there is no service, the display on the outside of the phone says "No Serivce", and when I click the side button says Vibrate or Loud or whatever mode its on, but still not the time. In order to see the time I have to open the phone.

This is also happens when i have a lot of text messages; it will simply say "Messages Full" and not display the time. Does this happen with the e815?

Well I'll assume this is the same as with Low Battery which also displays across the outside screen and won't go away when you press up or anything...except on the E815 when you leave it closed for a little while the display changes to the time in white on black background so it looks almost like a black and white lcd watch.

So even with low battery or no service you can see the time as long as you don't press any buttons first...if you do, then you have to open it or wait a sec for the screen to tun off.

As for filling up your phone with sms's, the 815 has 40 megs of internal memory and I have yet to fill it, especially cuz I have it just drop old stuff after a while anyway.
