How on earth does the notepad on the e815 work?

It looks like it just stores numbers in the phonebook. Is it possible to write yourself a note or a memo?

If you need to leave yourself a memo or note, you shoud use the voice notes, it works much better, faster and eliminates all the typing! 😁

The notepad is for numbers according to the manual. 😉

This feature has been on Moto phones for a long time. All the notepad does is "hold onto" the last thing (i.e. number) you entered on the keypad. It's meant for when you're in a call and have to take down digits (instead of putting down the phone, putting pen to paper, and crashing in the process). It also works even if you're not in a call. Try entering numbers (a whole phone number or just a couple of digits) and then press the end call (power) button. If you navigate to the "Notepad", you'll see what you just entered. Simple, but it can be handy.
