Problems with VCast freezing and resetting phone

My 815 didnt have the VCast on it so I went and got the software download for it. Now I notice that it takes awhile for the VCast to load. I had the LG8000 and it takes significantly longer to load into VCast than it used to. Also when I go into Entertainment/VCast Encore it completely freezes my phone and then resets it. Anyone else having this problem?

Yes, mine does the same thing, but I have noticed that it freezes only when I either navigate through vcast too quickly, or when I stop the video using the clear button instead of the stop button. Try this and your phone should stop freezing like that.

The problem is, it doesnt freeze at all on any of the other VCast menus. No matter how fast I go through them. Its only on the Entertainment/VCast, thats what makes me wonder if there was a problem on the software download.

Same here. I only go to Entertainment/Vcast. I really dont know what to tell you. I took mine to the store today. They are going to replace it. I got mine thru vzw.com. When I got it (saturday) I inmediately noticed the hinges were not alined properly (a bit crooked) I took it Sunday to the store, they told me they didnt have any to exchange it with. I called today cuz I know they get their shipments on Tuesdays, they said they had some in, so I flocked to the store. They told me to leave it and go back in 4 hrs. When I get the new one (in a few hrs) I'll let you know if this problem is still there.
I think I am going to be getting one that didnt have the Vcast software problem. I hope (crossing fingers)

Yeah, I had the same thing, if you scroll up instead of down it's okay, or if you just press the number of what you want...but scrolling down through Entertainment causes it to lock up and reboot the phone...but it wasn't doing this last week, so I think it's Verizon's fault and it may fix itself when they update stuff.

Any update? Is it just the software or the phone?
