Yeah, I have full service all around North/Central Jersey...just not in Westfield, NJ, but no cell phone providers have service there, at least not inside...silly town.

Everywhere else has been great though, improved from my V60

Hey Slapnutz,

I just moved to Scotch Plains a month ago (right off of Lambertville Rd - Border of Westfield). I too notice that reception sucks in the Westfield / Scotch Plains Area for both my former V710 and new E815. Always dropping calls. I have heard that the towns here dont want any towers? Is that true? If so, its a ridiculous policy. Wireless communication is going to kill wired sometime in our life, so they will have to give in sooner or later and plant a tower in our backyard.

I am impressed however that my E815 does work at all in my house. My friends with their Verizon phones from Audiovox, LG, etc cant get a signal at all in my house. So I guess it says a lot about the strength of the Moto E815. I am very happy with it!

hey neighbor, scotch plains has always been a dead zone for cellular ever since they came out. i heard rumors that a cell tower is going up next to the firehouse in cranford. if thats true then we will see a very good increase, especially in scotch plains

I just drove most of the GSP, I caught the EvDO network until South of the Raritan bridge, had great coverage the rest of the way down, especially at mile 83 when I actually needed it. I was about 3 miles inland of Sea Isle City at mile 17 for a week and had near-perfect coverage all week. Put maybe 1-2 hours of talk time on it while I was there (was with my family, who else would need to call?) and only put it on a charger so I was sure I'd have battery to use if I needed it again on the way home. Never shut the phone off, was playing with features all week, so I had good signal and this was a nice indication of the real-life standby time in that area.
