Aftermarket antenna for E815

Hi,

just got an E815, but the antenna is superannoying when carrying the phone in my pocket. I am looking for a shorter antenna replacement, like a stubby.

Do you know of aftermarket antennas for this phone? Are V710 and E815 antennas interchangeable?

Thanks,
blu

I had the e815 for about a week until I exchanged for the 8100, but while I had the e815 I bought a "MINI ANTENNA" off ebay that is after market, but made to fit this phone. I recieved it after I had already taken my e815 back so I don't know if it even fits (says it will, but no way to test). I paid $13.99 for it with shipping (from Germany), but would like to sell it. If you are anyone is interested, I would sell for $10.00 with free shipping. I have no use for it. It is shiny silver and screws in where the other one screws out, thus taking away that long antenna.

Hi Mary,

I'd be interested. Could you email me the link to the old ebay auction, so I could see how the antenna looks like?

Thanks,

I just wanted to reopen this topic. I am unclear about one thing. Will an aftermarket antenna for a V710 fit the threads of the E815? I am having a difficult time finding the answer to this and was curious if anyone has first hand experience with this.

I have looked at bluedayz.com. There is nothing mentioned about models, so I have sent an email and am waiting for a response. I also looked at the eBay auction that was listed, and it did not mention the E815, but it did the V710.

Also, I have rarely extended the antenna, but I have. It will sometimes give my 1 bar more. Do any of these aftermarket antennas provide a strong signal? Thanks!
