An address book question

After I purchased my E815, the Verizon salesman transferred my address book from my prior LG phone. Unlike with the LG, each phone number of the same person, shows up on the E815 as a separate entry. I understand that it's possible to arrange the phonebook so that only one number for a person shows and to get to his other numbers, you scroll right or left. If this is done, I understand that the voice dialing is still available for all of this person's numbers. Does anyone know how you rearrange the multiple phone numbers of a person in this way? Thank you.

Arranging your phone book and setting primary numbers is covered well in the Owners Manual. 😉

Check the index under primary number and other listings for the phone book and you will get step by step instructions.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....I sometimes wonder why they include a manual, does anyone read it? 😕

Yes, the instruction book covers setting up a primary number, but that does not answer how to do what I was asking about. Nor does any other instruction in the manual that I found. Nonethelsss, by playing with the phone I finally ended up stumbling on how to do what I needed done, no thanks to the manual.

Sorry for your troubles! The manual is very vague! I'm glad you figured things out. 🙂 🙂

I'm just happy the phone had the capability of rearranging the contact list in this way. So far, I'm very impressed with the options available on this phone.
