Verizon Wireless Upsidedown??
Rec'd my E815 today and the external display showed the words "Verizon Wireless" upsidedown. When I called to ask about it, they knew it was a Moto (b-4 I ID'd myself or my phone) and said it is a known problem with Motos.....Phone went back waiting for a new one. Anyone else experience this?

I would guess it would be right side up if you were looking at it from the outside with flip open. Maybe for advertising? Mine is the same way, and I think it's normal for the phone.

You know I thought that too at first but decided to call & question it as I have never seen that on a phone before....they always have it so that the person holding the phone can read it. The Verizon Rep told me that there is a chip that was put in upsidedown and that I could either take it to my local store for a replacement (probably a refurb) or because I was in my 15 day window return it to them and they would send out a replacement (I ordered it on-line)....so I shipped it back. My new one should arrive Tuesday so I will wait & see what that one looks like. I never activated the first one so I don't know if it had any other issues.

I think that Verizon Rep had no clue what they were talking about! I have seen over 10 of the E815's live, and "Verizon Wireless" is designed this way so others can see it. I can guarantee you that the phones in the retail stores are the same. My first phone was purchased through customer service, and since then I have exchanged at Circuit City and Verizon retail locations-they're all the same-sorry!
