Earpiece Volume????

I have had many Motorola's in the past. And I always had a problem with the volume in the handset being low. I would have to push the speaker into my ear canal! I know the V710 had this problem. Could someone that has this phone let me know how the volume is?

It sounds great at volume 4, anything above has pitchy sounds with higher tones, but you are able to hear fine. Volumes above 4 are great for the speakerphone. I don't have to push speaker too hard against my ear. It does have a special spot though.
