Motorola E815 / E816 Hollywood
Is this true? Or is my local Verizon store just trying to avoid fixing this?
I got this phone a few days ago as a birthday prezzie from my parents. I absolutely love it.
Except...I tried to get some mp3s on it by sending the files through the [email protected], but it won't download. (One at a time and there were only three I -really- wanted on there right now. Little pick me up songs ^_^.)
It'll sit there a few minutes and then give me this error message saying that it can't download the message and to try again later.
I took the phone into the store where it was bought and the guys at the counter sent me to customer service. This guy just tries once to get it to download and then tells me that Verizon has blocked all files but images.
I'm not sure whether to believe that or not. It was only after I'd tol...

Call tech support and tell them the data option is not working for you, this was occuring to me and they could not figure it out until i decided to call again and got a 2nd level support tech and she knew what was wrong right away.

Well...I called verizon...several times. They've told me I need to call Motorola about this and get them to walk me through setup. I am just livid at this point. From what they tell me this is something they SHOULD'VE done at the store or at the very least something they should be able to walk me through.

Have them transfer you to 2nd level support that is what i did, it took 2 calls to get someone familiar with this problem to know what to do.

The file size on that is to big to be sent from email. send it from www.funformobile.com , if someone else already posted that then sorry, but im to lazy to look around. you can even make your own mp3's and i did it and works perfectly

what size Mp3...you can only send so much through pix or txt, larges file i sent was 130kb

Close to 300kb. I'm sick of messing with this tbh. I'll need to get a transflash card soon and a card reader. So, I guess I'll just wait til then. If I can't do it that way, I'll stick to the default rings lol.
