Give us a little more to go on. The more you supply, the better we can figure out what the problem is,
1. What version are you using?
2. Have you tried the auto update of the program?
3. Did you load the USB driver?
4. If so, where did you get it?
5. When you say "nothing" works, you mean the program will not run> Will it return an error message. What exactly did you do and what do you get?
More info goes a long way since we can not see what you are doing! 😕

I'm using v. 3.25b, I have it "live-updated" from the 3.11 disc. I found something on-line that claimed to be a USB driver, but it hasn't made anything better. Why didn't moto include the USB driver for the cable on the disk? Weird.
The program installs. Windows XP recognizes the cable, and recongnizes the E815, but says they are missing drivers. When it searches for them, it can't find them either on the MPT disk or on-line.
Thus, the program hangs at "initializing". When I check the Windows XP Modems and Phones control panel, it says it sees a Motorola USB modem, but that it is not functioning correctly. It doesn't assign to any COM ports, I guess?

There is a thread over at HoFo and it really does include the correct driver. Th eonly issue that I have now is that from time to time I have to unplug the USB cable, start MPT and when it starts searching - connect the USB cable - if I was a betting man.... I'd say that this is an XP problem (thanksverymuch Microsoft)
