A question about changing speed dial numbers of a contact

Is there a way on the E815 to change the speed dial number of a contact (call him "Contact A") to another speed dial number without completely deleting the contact who presently has the speed dial number you want to switch to ("Contact B")? What I'd like to do is to change the speed dial number of Contact B to another speed dial number, but not delete Contact B. Do I have to first find who has the speed dial number I want to switch Contact A to (Contact B) and switch Contact B's speed dial number before switching Contact A's speed dial number?

My earlier YES was to both questions, it can be done and you need to reassign as you stated above. You pretty much hit the nail on the head as to how it needs to be done! 🙂

To find the speed dial numbers easily, just change the sort of the contacts to sort on speed dial numbers. Note any open numbers that you may want to use. Changing the sort of the contacts is covered completely in the manual.

Once you have reassigned Contact B's speed dial and freed up that number, then you can assign the numb...

I did so by mistake. When I caught my mistake, I apologized in the LG forum, then posted it here where it belonged.
