Wireless internet with the USB cable

If you have a USB cable for the phone and have installed the USB modem driver that I put in a previous post, you can now hook wireless Internet for a laptop wherever you may be, airport, hotel, park, ect.

This will still be a dial-up account, not high speed Internet, but at least you can do it. The phone will act as your modem connection to the Internet.

Just set up in Windows another Internet connection with the Motorola USB modem as the connection device. You can place a shortcut on the desktop to this connection so it will not interfere with your regular Internet service, whether it be another dial-up or high speed.

I would highly recommend the shortcut or you will be finding it trying to look for this connection when on cable ...

By the way, the USB driver made everything work fine. I was so excited I forgot to mention that fact last e-mail.

I see what you mean about the dial-up connection, thanx. Maybe I can give that ol T-Mobile hotspot account the old heave-ho.
